Saeko Kujiraoka is a Los Angeles–based koto performer and teacher who began studying in middle school. Trained in the Ikuta tradition, she holds advanced credentials in koto, sangen, and classical singing from the Michio Miyagi School in Japan and founded the U.S.-based Koto Eda Group in 2000.

Her work spans traditional and contemporary music, with collaborations across classical, jazz, and cross-genre projects. She has contributed to major recordings in film, video games, and international artist projects, and has performed at events such as the Rose Parade and the Tokyo 2020 Olympics opening ceremony.
